Ashi Singh on Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai Going off-air: It was like a death news to me

We recently reported about the news of  Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, Sony TV's popular show going off air on 16th August i.e. a day after Independence day.

India Forums got in touch with Ashi Singh who became household name as Naina with the show and took her reaction on the show going off air. Ashi said, Yes the show is going off air, actually we had idea about the same but there was no official confirmation. When the news got confirmed and was officially announced I got very emotional and started crying also.The show is very close to me as well as the fans. It was like death news that had come to me because I was so attached to show. But seeing fans support and love I was happy and I am taking this in a positive way. Something has to end to start a new thing."

When asked about the fans support, she said, "I am feeling very positive seeing the support. They even started trend Save Yehundino campaign. I have mixed emotions now seeing the love and support of the fans."

When we asked her about her plans after the show, Ashi remarked,"I will take a little break. I was Naina since last two years. I was not playing Naina, I started behaving Naina. So, I will take a little break to get out of Naina's character and will do some workshop theater."
