Ashi gets a DRUNK Kartik home & gets scolded; Suwarna finally proposes her and Kartik's marriage

Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will soon see Suwarna (Parul Chauhan) go for the kill and propose Kartik's (Mohsin Khan) alliance to Ashi.

In the upcoming episodes, we'll see how Kartik confesses to Ashi that there is no scope of a patch up between him and Naira (Shivangi Joshi), Ashi being his best friend, will tell Kartik to move on and not live life in a shell.

She then plans a divorce party for Kartik so that he can have some closure and start his life over again. However, Ashi's plan fails big time, when Kartik (who has turned into an alcoholic after his separation with Naira) ends up getting intoxicated and tells Ashi that he can never stop loving Naira, no matter what.

Ashi then gets a passed out Kartik home and gets scolded by Manish (Sachin Tyagi) for being so careless about the party and Kartik. However, Suwarna defends Ashi and ends up blaming Naira for turning Kartik into a drunkard.

She then asks Ashi to save her Kartik by marrying him, which leaves both Manish and Ashi shocked out of their wits.

And the next morning, Ashi drops the bomb on Kartik that his mother wants them to get married, which infuriates him to no end. She will then also go on to tell Kartik that she is in love with somebody else.

Apart from this drama, we'll soon see the entry of Ashi's boyfriend and her mother, whom Suwarna would have summoned to speak to, with regards to Ashi and Kartik's alliance. 

And on the other hand, after Devyani reveals to the family that Suwara has been planning to get Kartik and Ashi married, Naira will be left heartbroken.

Will Kartik confront Suwarna and tell her to back off? Or will he cave into her demands and agree for an alliance? Well, we'll have to wait and watch.
