Asha to judge Indian Idol?

There have been a lot of speculations around town that who would join Anu Malik, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Salim Merchant on the judge's seat in Indian Idol 6.

There have been a lot of speculations around town that who would join Anu Malik, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Salim Merchant

on the judge's seat in Indian Idol 6. Reports have confirmed that the legendary singer Asha Bhosle has been roped in to do the honors for the sixth season of this successful reality show.

Earlier, there were rumors that the music maestro, A. R. Rahman, was approached but seems like things didn't work out and Asha Bhosle will be the fourth judge on the show!

The veteran singer, who has more than 12,000 songs to her credit, has graced various reality shows in the past, but only as a guest judge. This will be first time she will be a full fledged judge for Indian Idol! Bhosle was supposed to appear on a different show along the likes of Abida Parveen, Runa Laila, Himesh Reshammiya, and Atif Aslam named Sur Kshetra! The show has now been delayed!
