The bail plea of Aryan Khan and seven others arrested in the Mumbai drugs bust case coincidentally comes on the birthday of mother Gauri Khan. In magistrate court the hearing of the plea had started around 12:30 pm.
The court had a day ago granted 14-day judicial custody to SRK’s son, his friend Arbaaz Merchant, model Munmun Dhamecha and five others.
Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan and other accused have tested negative for Covid-19 and have been declared medically fit. They have now been shifted to Arthur road jail.
While Munmun Dhamecha and Nupur have been taken to women's jail in Byculla.
According to reports Aryan Khan along with other accused of the cruise drug bust case has been kept in the quarantine cell of the Arthur jail.

Senior counsel Satish Maneshinde, who represents the 23-year-old told the court that,
"Youths do not foresee the link between actions today and their consequences tomorrow. The youth deserve the opportunity to get back their freedom. Judgments on how law dealt with those who had smaller quantities recovered from them, need to be seen. Law is evolving".
Also in a latest development the Narcotics Control Bureau has nabbed 18th accused a Nigerian national in the case, he will be produced before the court once hearing resumes.
He has been apprehended with 40 tablets of commercial quantity of Ecstasy, as per sources. NCB has sought his 3-days custody, till October 11.
While the war of words is still underway in the court along with Maneshinde, Arbaaz Merchant's lawyer during the proceedings pleaded for bail with conditions also Munmun Dhamecha's lawyer had argued by maintaining that nothing was recovered from here.
Meanwhile fans had gathered with posters standing outside Mannat. They extended support to SRK and left placards outside his residence.
