Arun Kushwah reveals how his role in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 expanded from 4 Days to 40

Kartik Aaryan’s much-anticipated Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, featuring Triptii Dimri, Madhuri Dixit, and Vidya Balan, has finally hit theaters and is receiving an enthusiastic response from fans. One standout element of the film is the hilarious chemistry between Kartik and Arun Kushwah, who plays Chhote Miyan. In a surprising twist, Kushwah shared that his originally planned 4-day role was unexpectedly extended to 40 days during filming.

Arun Kushwah, who previously worked with Kartik in Luka Chuppi, mentioned that he didn’t get much time to interact with him back then since his character primarily interacted with Pankaj Tripathi. However, this time, under director Anees Bazmee, they found the opportunity to connect.

Reflecting on his experience with Pinkvilla, Arun stated, "Kaafi behtareen experience matlab magic hua hai mere saath iss film ko lekar (It was a great experience like magic happened to me with this film)." He further explained that casting director Mukesh Chhabra recommended his name and Kartik also agreed to have him on board, hailing his "comedy" skills.

Initially, Arun’s role was meant to be a brief appearance over 4 days, and Anees wasn't familiar with him as he doesn’t watch much short content. However, after seeing Arun’s work, Anees and Kartik decided to expand his character significantly.

Kushwa went on to hail the director’s spontaneity and noted how Bazmee would often cancel the written scene and create a new scene with so much brilliance that it would blend perfectly with the whole story, seeming like it was written from the beginning.

While concluding he said, "Anees sir bahut zyada spontaneous hain matlab ye cheez main real-life mein karna chahta hoon, unplanned cheezein kitni khoobsurat tareeke se nikal ke aati hain ye main unse seekhna chahta hoon aur mujhe bhi iss hi prakaar ka approach kabhi kabhaar pasand hai (Anees sir is very spontaneous. I would like to adopt that quality in me and I want to learn how unplanned things come out so beautifully, and I also like that approach some time)."
