Arjun Rampal Summoned

Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal has found himself yet again under the scanner of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection to a drugs case linked to late Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

Arjun has been summoned again by the Narcotics Control Bureau for questioning and has been asked to appear before the agency on December 16, 2020.

Previously, the NCB had conducted a raid at Rampal’s Mumbai house and reportedly found a banned drug at his residence. The agency had seized electronic gadgets such as laptops, mobile phones and tablets during the search and also questioned Rampal's driver.

Rampal and his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades were grilled for several hours for two consecutive days in connection to the ongoing drugs probe.

However, the actor has blatantly denied any connection to narcotics substances. "I have nothing to do with drugs. I have prescription for the medicine which was found at my residence and the prescription has been handed over to NCB officials. I am cooperating with the investigation and the NCB officials are doing a good job," Rampal had told reporters last month.

Last month, the Narcotics Control Bureau  arrested Paul Bartel, a friend of actor Arjun Rampal, in the drug-related case.
