Arjun Bijlani and Nikki Sharma visited Kashi Vishwanath to seek blessings for their new show – Zee TV’s Pyaar

Having presented several interesting narratives such as Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, Teri Meri Ikk Jindri and Rabb Se hai Dua that have resonated beautifully with audiences across India, Zee TV joins hands yet again with Studio LSD Productions to present an exciting new show – 'Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya Shiv Shakti'.  As we recently got to know that popular actress Nikki Sharma will be essaying the role of Shakti, who is a young woman who lost her parents at a tender age and yearns for a sense of belonging while chasing her parents’ dream of becoming a doctor.

Set against the backdrop of Varanasi, the show is a beautiful tale of love, showcasing a modern-day interpretation of the Shiv-Shakti dynamic. We recently witnessed the first promo make huge waves on social media with raving reviews on the characters of Shiv and Shakti played by Arjun Bijlani and Nikki Sharma. To make this promo a success and create authenticity, our actors visited Varanasi and shot for the promo amongst the locals of the city. This was also the first time Nikki visited the Holy City of Varanasi; hence, she could not resist exploring its nooks and corners of it. And to seek blessings for the show, Arjun and Nikki visited the famous sacred temple – Kashi Vishwanath, which is also one of the twelve Jyotirlinga. While they had a blissful experience, they were also greeted and welcomed by their fans in the city.

Talking about her experience in Varanasi, Nikki said, “I was really excited to shoot in Varanasi, as visiting this city has always been my dream. I was planning to visit Varanasi this month, and when I bagged the show, I just thought that it was meant to be. Though we were occupied with the shoot schedules, I managed to take some time to visit Kashi Vishwanath, which has always been on my bucket list. I am a true believer of lord Shiva, and the fact that I got to take his blessing to commence the journey of Shakti makes me feel blessed; it’s like God is fulfilling my dreams.”

While Arjun and Nikki have commenced this journey on a holy note, it will be interesting to watch how Shiv and Shakti complete each other in this beautiful love story.
