Is a sequel of Ra.one planned, already?

The Sci-fi movie which became the talk of the entire nation in 2011 was Ra.One. It was the first time when such technology was being used in filmmaking and Sci-fi is always new for Indian cinema.

Shah Rukh Khan and VFX were the two who got all the appreciation. The movie did quite a groundbreaking business and well, the fans started to expect a sequel.

Now, the director of the movie has revealed,"Shah Rukh and I keep talking about it. But I don't know, nothing's happening for now. It's never easy to make a sci-fi film. But I know someday, over a drink, we will jump into it. It's on his mind and it's on my mind too."

Back in 2015, the fans were piqued with the thought of the sequel. Then , Shah Rukh Khan expressed his interest in the same and comforted the fans with this. He said, "I will 100 per cent make the sequel. There are no two ways about it. By nature I am not someone to give up on a dream - be it KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) or Ra.One. Of course we will make it better now, because we have five more years of amazing experience in technology."

He further added, "Inshaallah, we will figure a story and I will speak to Anubhav Sinha again. The film will be called G.One. It requires planning and today we have a good set up."

It seems we have to wait for the sequel but what we do know is the fact that there will be a G.One, one day for sure. Currently our Bollywood Badshah is busy holidaying and will be seen next in Zero.

Releasing on December 21, Zero is movie about celebrating the imperfections of life. He is playing a dwarf and Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma will be seen by his side.
