Are 'Kidnapping' tracks a TRP booster for TV shows?

Kidnapping has always been the plus point to level up the TRPs in shows. The intriguing track has always helped the producers to spice up the drama and twist in the story, so makers always plan for a kidnapping sequence to add the much needed drama quotient.

It seems that Rashmi Sharma's Sasural Simar Ka is trying to grab the attention of viewers by its kidnapping sequence. To spice up the drama, a kidnapping sequence in introduced by the makers, where eventually Prem is successful in saving his wife Simar from the clutches of the evil.In the ongoing sequence too Vikrant (Aadesh Chaudhry) has kidnapped Simar (Dipika Samson) and Siddhant (Manish Raisinghan), Roli (Avika Gor) and Prem (Dheeraj Dhoopar) are trying to find her and save her.
Zee TV popular show Jamai Raja starring Roshni (Nia Sharma) and Siddhart (Ravi Dubey) is becoming popular among the audiences for its interesting twist and turns. While the show also went through a kidnapping scene recently where Roshni was trapped by the goons while saving a child and was later rescued by her hero Siddharth. This sequence helped to build good high point in the show.
Zee TV's another long running show Qubool Hai has showcased many kidnapping sequence in the show as Zoya played by Surbhi Jyoti was kidnapped. Now again after the leap Sanam has been kidnapped and gets rescued in the show to boost the TRPs. This show seems to focus more on kidnapping scenes for bringing the much needed twist in their story line.
Colors' show Beintehaa which recently went off air also introduced a kidnapping scene where Zain was kidnapped by Zarina (Kamya Punjabi) and was replaced by Rocket who was playing a double role by Harshad Arora. However, the show ended on a good note where Zain is rescued and meets his family again.
Colors's popular and long running show Uttaran also introduced a kidnapping sequence where Mukta gets kidnapped during her marriage and Rathod (Gaurav Chopra) comes for her rescue. It was a dramatic scene where Mukta (Sreejita De)was tortured by the goons. Recently Manav was also kidnapped in the show.

I wish they kept the voilence low. The kidnapping of Sanam is rife with extreme voilence and torture. It's not drama its a cheap way to get TRP.
