Archana Puran Singh BREAKS SILENCE on replacing Navjot Singh Sidhu on TKSS

Netizens went mad when they heard Navjot Singh Siddhu making remarks on he Pulwama terrorist attacks. On The Kapil Sharma Show, he said and we quote,"For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual? It (the attack) is a cowardly act and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable and those who did it must be punished."

His remarks hurt the sentiments of many and all the chaos led to him getting sacked from the show. The grapevines went abuzz that Archana Puran Singh is the filling in the shoes of Navjot Singh Siddhu.

But in a recent interaction with TOI, Archana revealed that she has shot for The Kapil Sharma Show on 9th and 13th of Feb. A day before the Pulwama attacks happened. She was filling in for Siddhu as he was away due to some personal work. 

She said that people are joining the wrong dots in rage and are assuming things. She made it pretty clear that she has not received any confirmation on any such news from the channel or the makers of the show. 

Since Archana is busy with shooting for 'My Name Is Lakhan' with Shreyas Talpade and also for one another movie, she said that it would be a task for her to manage TKSS too if she were asked to fill in. She said that she would see what to do when she faces such a situation.
