Now, Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman has seemingly taken a subtle dig at the controversy. During the Chhaava event, Vicky Kaushal asked Rahman to describe his music using three emojis. Rahman responded with ‘mouth closed'.

His remark left Vicky Kaushal and the audience surprised. Vicky then quipped, “Talk about roasting." When asked about the second emoji, Rahman doubled down, saying, “All three mouth closed.”

Meanwhile, the controversy has led Samay Raina to take a drastic step. On Wednesday, the comedian announced that he has deleted all India’s Got Latent videos from his YouTube channel amid growing criticism.

In his first reaction to the backlash, Raina admitted that the situation had become overwhelming for him. Addressing his followers on social media, he said, 'Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you.'

The controversy has sparked discussions about the limits of comedy and responsible content creation. While Rahman’s remark was subtle, many believe it was a pointed response to the ongoing debate. Whether this will lead to further consequences for Raina and Ranveer remains to be seen.
