Recently, Anushka Sharma responded to a post emphasizing that the Indian Armed Forces are the genuine heroes, surpassing even Bollywood actors and cricketers in societal prominence.

The post stated, “Days like these make you realise that Army men are the real heroes, not Bollywood celebrities and cricketers." Anushka Sharma showed her agreement by ‘liking’ the post on Instagram after a meme account shared it. Beyond her status as a superstar actress, Anushka is also married to cricketer Virat Kohli, who commands a massive global fanbase.

Prior to this, Anushka Sharma utilized her Instagram platform to express gratitude to the Indian Armed Forces for safeguarding the nation amidst escalating India-Pakistan tensions. She lauded Indian soldiers as heroes and recognized the sacrifices they and their families have made.

She further stated, “I take pride in saying that I am an army officer’s daughter even more than being an actor."
