Anushka Sharma- 'I do turn to Virat for batting tips' prepping for 'Chakda Xpress'

With her film Chakda Xpress, Anushka Sharma is preparing to return to the field. In preparation for her role as bowler Jhulan Goswami, the starlet has been working hard and preparing in the sweltering heat.

Anushka revealed an update on her training in a recent conversation with Harper's Bazaar. Anushka Sharma is married to Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli. It's no surprise, then, that Virat has been assisting Anushka with her cricket playing.

Anushka disclosed to the magazine that she is giving Virat Kohli batting lessons and showing him her cricket videos.

"We definitely discuss my progress. Whenever I’ve had a good day learning, I like to share my videos with Virat, to get his feedback. Luckily, he’s not a bowler so I listen to my coach more. But I do turn to Virat for batting tips,"

Anushka said. 

Anushka also expressed that she has always recognised how emotionally taxing cricket can be but now she understands how physically exhausting it can be. She also recalled Virat visiting her on set on occasions, and when he saw her working late at night or in freezing temperatures, he would get perplexed and wondered how we were able to do it. Now she speak with him about the things he's been up to for so long. 

Anushka Sharma took a sabbatical from acting after her pregnancy. She wanted to dedicate all her time to her daughter Vamika. Now that she has turned a year older, the actress is gearing up to reappear on the screens. 

Her film Chakda Xpress was announced earlier this year and will be releasing digitally on Netflix.
