Anushka Sharma begins shooting for Sultan!

Director Ali Abbas Zafar is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Sultan. The film based on a sports and drama is expected to release on Eid this year. After Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma has also begun to shoot for the film.

Anushka tweeted, "New beginnings ... New journey .. Heading for the first day of #Sultan shoot . Excited !! Here we go .. !!" The actress also posted her picture on her Instagram profile where she is getting ready for the shoot.

This would be the first time Anushka would be seen sharing screen-space with Salman Khan.

Although, there were many speculations initially reagrding the lead actress for the film, in an official statement made by Yashraj Films on 9^th January, it was revealed that Anushka Sharma has been roped in for the role.

Anushka would also be a part of the film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil with Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
