Anupamaa: Pakhi's mysterious disappearance leaves Anupama desperate; Anuj offers comfort

Tonight's Anupamaa episode commences with a heated argument between Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) and Vanraj (Sudhanshu Pandey). Anupama passionately defends her role as a mother, emphasizing the challenges from pregnancy to a lifetime of caregiving. Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) wisely advises them to focus on Pakhi (Muskan Bamne) instead. Samar and Toshu extend their visit to the Shah house to support Baa and Bapuji in their distress. Anupama urges them to take good care of the Baa and Bapuji, while Samar and Toshu emphasize prayer's power. Emotional farewells are exchanged, and just as they are about to leave, they are startled by an incoming call from an inspector.

Inspector's call deepens Pakhi's mystery:

Anuj picks up the call and puts it on speaker. The inspector shares that they have yet to find any leads on Pakhi but are diligently investigating. They've even informed hospitals to check for any matching cases. Anupama and Vanraj react strongly, sitting down in shock. Both reminisce about their moments with Pakhi, with Anuj trying to calm Anupama.

At the Shah house, Vanraj listens to Pakhi's voice while holding her passport-sized photo, lost in memories. The whole family also reflects on their happy times with Pakhi. Hasmukh notices Vanraj's anguish, removes the earphones, and consoles him. Vanraj yearns for Pakhi, even hallucinating her voice.

Anxious wait for Pakhi:

Back in their respective homes, Anupama and Vanraj sit by their doors, anxiously awaiting Pakhi's return. Anupama imagines Pakhi's arrival, kisses her, and expresses her worry. Pakhi promises not to leave again and asks Anupama to rest on her lap. Anupama soon realizes it was just a hallucination and desperately searches for Pakhi. Kinjal (Nidhi Shah) notices Toshu crying, holding a gift meant for Pakhi on Raksha Bandhan. She consoles him while he regrets not being able to celebrate with Pakhi and protect her. Kinjal expresses her love for Pakhi, and Samar reminisces about their fun moments, pleading for her return.

Desperate search for Pakhi: 

Anupama loses her composure, frantically searching for Pakhi as if playing hide and seek. Anuj intervenes, providing a reality check, and they're interrupted by the arrival of an inspector. He informs them about an accident matching Pakhi's description at a nearby area and urges them to check at the city hospital. Anupama denies it's her daughter but is advised by the inspector to verify due to the missing person's report.

Precap:

In the precap of Anupamaa, anxiety mounts at the Kapadia house, waiting for Anuj's return. Anupama asks Ankush to call him, but there's no response yet. An emotional Anupama hugs Baa and sobs, saying, "my sweetie," while everyone is in tears, and Vanraj is left stunned, seated in silence.
