Anupamaa: Malti Devi's unexpected departure

Samar and Dimple are going to be parents:

Tonight's episode of "Anupamaa" starts with Barkha wondering if everyone is turned mad to become parents while everyone else joyfully celebrates Dimple's pregnancy announcement. Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) blesses Dimple (Nishi Saxena) and Samar (Sagar Parekh) near Ganpati ji, warding off the evil eye. Leela and the other women form a circle around Samar and Dimple, dancing in celebration. Meanwhile, Pakhi approaches Adhik and discusses how pregnancy news brings happiness to the family.

Anupama offers advice to Dimple about the joys and challenges of pregnancy. She also assures Samar that he will be a great father. Samar suggests seeking guidance from Toshu and Kinjal, who have experience, and Kavya highlights the benefits of having a joint family. Samar and Dimple put up a "we will be parents" sign on their door, and Samar twirls Dimple in excitement. They discuss why Dimple didn't tell him earlier, and she explains that it wasn't confirmed until the pooja. They express their happiness and aspirations for their future child.

Malti Devi's sudden departure:

Anupama reflects on Samar's childhood while looking at his picture and sheds tears of joy. Anuj captures this heartfelt moment on his phone. Anupama hopes that Kavya and Dimpy's baby will bring auspiciousness to the house and fill it with happiness. Anupama receives a call from Baa, who informs her that Malti Devi has disappeared. Anupama and Anuj rush to Baa's house, where they find a letter from Malti Devi expressing her gratitude for reuniting her with her son. She mentions her decision to leave as it seems better. Anupama blames herself for not taking better care of her. Baa is distraught. Anuj walks away by saying that it's her habit to leave. Vanraj follows him to offer support. Meanwhile, Samar tries to console everyone by asking Anupama to concentrate on the good news, and Anupama hugs him. Toshu comments that Samar's charm easily convinces Anupama.

Leela's wish to wipe off the partition:

After the Ganesh Visarjan ceremony, everyone convenes at the Shah residence the following day. Toshu discloses Baa's wish to celebrate Ganpati for 11 days next year. Baa also expresses her desire to put an end to the house's partition. Dimple, Samar, and Baa agree on this decision, and the three share a heartfelt moment while Anupama wards off any negative energy. Kavya shares her hopes for a warm welcome for her future child, and Vanraj emphasizes the importance of staying together as a family. Samar expresses his contentment with having his mother's love, and Anupama promises to make all his favourite dishes. Pakhi and Toshu tease Samar about the attention he's receiving.

In the precap, Anupama excitedly announces that Samar is going to be a father, and they prepare to leave for a party. However, a shocking revelation awaits them as Vanraj informs Anupama about Anuj's involvement in Samar's death.
