Anupamaa’s Sagar Parekh experiences FAN RUSH outside restaurant: 'I saw 20, 30 people running toward me..'

Sagar Parekh, who rose to fame with his portrayal in Star Plus' much-loved show Anupamaa, recently shared a heartwarming reel on his Instagram, capturing an unforgettable fan encounter that left him emotional and speechless.

In the video, Sagar is seen inside his car, surrounded by fans who are visibly excited to see him. Children, men, and women of different age groups can be seen waving at him, trying to greet him, taking pictures and wanting to shake hands. Sagar, clearly touched by the gesture, smiles and interacts with them warmly from inside the car. The video also features a text, "Kamaya hua Pyaar" (earned love), summing up how Sagar feels about the connection he has built with his audience.

The reel appears to have been shot by Nishi Saxena, as her cheerful laughter can be heard in the background. This moment seems to have taken place after the two stepped out of a restaurant together. Nishi, who acted alongside Sagar in Anupamaa, is also rumoured to be his girlfriend, though neither of them has confirmed the same.

Along with the reel, Sagar shared an emotional message reflecting on his journey in the industry. He recalled his early days in Mumbai and wrote, "7 years of quiet hustle. A heart full of dreams. I still remember walking down Juhu Beach for the first time — just another hopeful boy in a new city, wondering how many lifetimes it takes to be seen, to be known. Yesterday, something unexpected happened. As I stepped out of a restaurant, I saw people running toward me — 20, 30, maybe more. They surrounded my car, calling out, asking for a glimpse, a picture, a moment. And I sat there, still… overwhelmed, almost in disbelief. That same boy who once roamed Juhu with questions in his heart was now being stopped on those very streets… with love. Goosebumps. Gratitude. A feeling I'll never forget. No, I haven't reached the destination yet — but yesterday reminded me that the journey has been worth every step. Thank you for the love. Thank you for making space for a boy with so many dreams."

On the work front, Sagar is currently a part of Jagriti- Ek Nayi Subah, where he stars alongside Vijayendra Kumeria. After his role in Anupamaa, he appeared in other shows like Pandya Store and Mera Balam Thanedaar.
