Anupamaa: Malti Devi seals Anupama’s dance academy; offers acceptance of apology in return of a dance number

Barkha turns to meditation as a way to pacify her anger. However, Ankush mocks her, insisting that even meditation fails to calm her down. He reminds her of their failed plan to take control of the Kapadia empire now that Maaya is no longer around, Anuj is preoccupied with CA, and Anupama has supposedly left for the USA. Barkha credits Anupama for their plan's downfall, questioning why she insisted on playing the mother's role when they were prepared to take care of CA themselves.

She predicts that Anuj will now follow Anupama, and they, in turn, will follow Anuj. Ankush argues that Barkha, too, being a mother, should respect Anupama's sacrifice. In response, Barkha labels him an Anupama devotee and urges him to leave her alone. Anuj defends Anupama's choice, mentioning her sacrifice for their child, but Barkha retorts by bringing up his illegitimate child, warning him not to involve the child in their disputes. Later, Samar returns home, leaving his workshop early due to concern for Anupama's well-being. Vanraj advises him to give Anupama some space and time to cope with her situation. Toshu informs them that everything that needed to be done has already been handled by Samar's wife (presumably Anupama). He shows them a newspaper article where Dimpy confirms that Anupama broke MD's contract, leading to substantial losses for MD.

The family expresses disappointment in Dimpy's ungrateful behavior, and they see her as a greedy and backbiting person. Kinjal questions Dimpy's inability to handle the truth, and Kavya suggests that she should have avoided commenting on the matter altogether. A servant accidentally drops Anupama's belongings in front of MD, triggering her anger even further. MD contemplates taking revenge against Anupama, whom she believes has tarnished her hard-earned reputation. The family witnesses Anupama's emotional bond with CA as they celebrate together.
