Anupamaa: Aryan wins Anupama's trust, vows to reveal the truth at his reception party

Star Plus' Anupamaa is packed with emotional twists as Aryan and Mahi's wedding takes centre stage. After secretly getting married in a temple, the couple finally gains their families' support for a simple traditional ceremony. However, trouble brews as Aryan's health begins to deteriorate. Unknown to most, Aryan is battling a past drug addiction. Though he promised Mahi he'd quit, his struggle isn't over. On the wedding day, a friend tempts him with drugs and mocks him for letting Mahi "control" him. Aryan is visibly shaken but refuses to give in.

However, Aryan, struggling with drug withdrawal symptoms, steps away from the Bidaai ceremony, saying he needs to use the washroom. He locks himself in a room and, unable to control his urge, takes drugs and passes out. Just then, Anupama and Raghav find him with the drugs, leaving Aryan shocked. Anupama gets angry and questions him, worried about Mahi's future. She doesn't know that Aryan has already told Mahi about his addiction. She asks him to tell the truth to the whole family, but Aryan begs for some time, promising to quit. He explains that he wants to stop but is finding it hard. Raghav supports him and reminds Anupama of a similar situation with Ishani. Anupama, trying to understand, tells Aryan that quitting drugs won't be easy without the family's support.

In the upcoming episode of Anupamaa, Aryan requests Anupama to give him time until the reception to reveal the truth. He holds her hand and promises that everyone will be present at the event and he will confess everything, swearing on Mahi. Anupama agrees to believe him and asks him not to let her down. Aryan reassures her that he will never break her trust.

As the family waits for the Bidaai ceremony to begin, Rahi arrives and takes Aryan with her. Seeing Anupama worried, Raghav reminds her how she once trusted him too and tells her it's just a matter of 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the Kothari family welcomes the newlyweds. Khyati performs the aarti, and Mahi's grahpravesh takes place. Holding Aryan's hand, she steps into her new home. At the same time, Anupama performs an aarti, but the diya suddenly goes out, leaving her anxious as it seems like a bad omen.
