Anupamaa: Anupama removes Mahi from her life, refuses to let the past repeat itself

In tonight’s Anupamaa episode, Rahi is about to change her outfit when Prem stops her, insisting on spending time together. Rahi reassures him that they have a lifetime ahead for such moments, but Prem reminds her that their haldi ceremony is a once-in-a-lifetime event. As he tries to get closer to her, Rahi asks him to step out so she can change. Reluctantly, Prem leaves the room.

However, Rahi soon realizes that her outfit is missing, making her anxious. When Anupama finds out, she is surprised as she was the one who packed the dress. Rahi worries that the Kotharis might assume she deliberately misplaced it, adding to the chaos surrounding every ritual. Overwhelmed, she begins to feel as if she is unlucky. Anupama consoles her and promises to search for the missing dress.

Meanwhile, Mahi unexpectedly enters Prem’s room wearing Rahi’s outfit. Mistaking her for Rahi, Prem approaches her. Just then, Anupama arrives and witnesses them together. Moments later, Rahi also sees them, leaving her stunned. Prem, shocked to realize it's Mahi, immediately tries to explain himself. Though Anupama misinterprets the situation, Rahi assures Prem that she trusts him.

Anupama then confronts Mahi, questioning why she took Rahi’s outfit from the suitcase. Mahi tearfully confesses that she longs for everything Rahi has, which is why she wore the dress. Anupama firmly asks Prem and Rahi to leave the room.

Later, Prem asks Rahi if she is upset. Rahi clarifies that her disappointment lies with Mahi, as she fails to understand boundaries. Prem explains that Mahi is struggling to cope with her heartbreak. He advises Rahi not to let this ruin her mood, as he wants her haldi ceremony to be joyful and free from unnecessary drama.

On the other hand, Mahi tries to justify herself to Anupama, but Anupama refuses to listen. She firmly reminds Mahi that she has explained things multiple times and won’t repeat herself again. She declares that everything—this house, this room, this wedding, and even Prem—belongs to Rahi. Drawing a parallel to her past, Anupama says that she has seen betrayal before, but at that time, it was her own life affected, with Kavya in Mahi’s place. The only difference, she adds, is that Prem is not like Vanraj Shah. Since it was her life back then, she forgave Kavya, but she refuses to forgive Mahi for trying to take Rahi’s place.

Anupama then makes a shocking decision—she announces that as soon as they return home, Mahi must pack her bags and leave. She orders Mahi to go back to her mother, Kavya. She promises to find an alternative place to stay if at all Kavya refuses her but she will not be allowed to remain in Krishnakunj or even in the city. Mahi, devastated, falls at Anupama’s feet and pleads for forgiveness, but Anupama remains firm and walks away, leaving Mahi heartbroken.

As Anupama processes everything, she worries that Rahi’s fate should not mirror her own. She grows restless over the thought. Meanwhile, Moti Baa and Leela argue over the haldi ritual. Hasmuk intervenes, stating that fate has decided that both the Shah and Kothari families should apply haldi to the couple. With the conflict resolved, Prem and Rahi go ahead with the ceremony. Anupama gives an emotional speech about the significance of haldi and feels relieved seeing Rahi’s ritual finally take place smoothly.

In the precap, Rahi’s father arrives at their haldi function, but Moti Baa refuses to accept Rahi. In response, Prem takes a stand and demands that Rahi marry him.
