Anupamaa: Anupama is robbed of her passport and money

In tonight's Anupamaa episode, the robber eyes Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) and inquires if she's in need of a budget-friendly hotel, emphasizing that not much money is required. Anupama admits she doesn't have much money. The robber nods and prepares to leave, but Anupama queries about the affordability of the hotel. Confirming it's indeed a cheap hotel, he directs her to a location just a 5-minute walk away. Anupama follows him, and as they head down a narrow lane, she questions why they aren't taking the main road. He explains it's a shortcut and asks for her luggage, to which she hesitates but complies. Unbeknownst to her, he guides her to a secluded spot where his accomplices await.

The robbers demand money from Anupama, who insists she has none. In a desperate attempt, she hits them with her bag, but they overpower her, snatching her handbag and luggage before fleeing. Anupama screams for the police and weeps as they escape with her passport and money. The weather takes a turn as ice starts falling, and Anupama struggles to open a trolley left behind by the robbers.

Meanwhile, at Vanraj's house, Dimple participates in a ritual and sits beside Kavya. Vanraj expresses his commitment to severing old ties for the sake of Samar's son. Kavya reflects on missing out on motherly love, and Dimple acknowledges the sacrifices a mother makes for her child. Baa prays for Vanraj's increased prosperity, while Babu ji feels stifled in their newfound affluent surroundings and prays for Anupama's success in America.

Back to Anupama, she finds herself alone, pursued by another man attempting to snatch her gold chain. Frightened, she flees and seeks help, eventually settling down near a shop. In the morning, Anuj arrives on a bike, takes a canned drink, and handles a business call confidently. Witnessing an older woman struggling, he assists her and receives her blessings. A falling leaf leads him to Anupama, who wakes up from her sleep.

As Anupama tries to enter a restaurant, she clashes with an American lady, leading to a brief confrontation with the lady guard. Anupama, desperate for a job and with her passport stolen, is denied entry. When she asks for water, the lady guard dismisses her. Anupama recalls Devika's advice about always carrying her passport and visa. 

Precap: The police notice Anupama and a female officer approaches her, requesting identification. Anupama discloses that her ID has been stolen. The police instruct her to accompany them, leaving Anupama in a state of shock.
