Anuj Sachdeva turns host for a celebrity chat show on Facebook!

Here is some interesting news for all the Anuj Sachdeva fans. 

For all those who are wondering as to why is the actor is not seen on the silver screen and is keeping a low profile, well, Anuj is actually shooting for a chat show as a host for his Facebook page!

Yes.

Facebook has closely associated with the making and promotion of the chat show. Titled 'Get Access with Anuj', the show will launch on May 15 on his verified Facebook official page. 

This is a unique concept where Facebook live and a pre-recorded footage will be used in tandem. 

Anuj confirmed this news stating, "I don't want to get into the details but this will be the first of its kind on a digital platform."

The talk show will feature extraordinary stories of ordinary people. 

"It is a show which will feature self-made personalities from all walks of life," he added.

The concept was developed by Anuj when he was reminiscing his journey and how he has come so far in his life. 

From being a shoe designer in Delhi to being an actor in Mumbai, Anuj belongs to the category of actors who has carved his career on his own.

Shedding some more light on the project, the actor said, "There are similar stories of people from various different fields who have their own interesting journeys. So I thought why not bring them forward to you all." 

The target audience for this chat show will be the youth. 

Anuj averred, "My aim is to make an inspirational and aspirational show for the youth of this country. I want them to understand how a celebrity is constructed through hard work and determination, and not with shortcuts. This show aims at adding value to people's lives through a digital medium."

The first season of 'Get Access with Anuj' will have 8 episodes. The show will be a fortnightly one and is being shot at the Facebook studio. 

Anuj has taken a break from television and has been working on getting his foothold in the digital world. He recently completed a web series for Amazon Prime and dived straight away into this chat show. 

He mentioned, "Digital is the biggest platform right now and it is only growing. For a while, I wanted to start something that I haven't done earlier. Anchoring or hosting a show is a first for me and I am super excited about it."
