Anuj Sachdev does not fear failure anymore..

Anuj Sachdev aka the handsome Amrit from Sabki Laadli Bebo, talks about how he overcame the dark phase of his life…

Who hasn't had to deal with failure? It's something none can escape. Truly, only those who can overcome failure with panache turn out to be successful individuals in their lives. And for Anuj Sachdev, who plays Amrit in Star Plus' Sabki Laadli Bebo, he had almost given up if only he hadn't taken up reading for solace.

Anuj tells about his life's 180 degree change in his own  words…

The hope-filled beginning

I had come to Mumbai from my hometown Delhi just like any other innocent boy with dreams, with stars in my eyes. But soon my eyes opened up to the harsh reality as I was not getting any proper offer. And since I couldn't manage to survive here, I went back to Delhi.

Hometown not bad, but not his goal
In Delhi I had a good enterprise running through footwear designing. So the logical step was to continue with it and relieve my father who was till then taking care of it. But then I was too depressed because my dream of making it in acting hadn't turned into reality. So I couldn't really focus on anything.

The wastefulness and the cure
I had taken to spending solitary hours in my bedroom, mulling over things and browsing through books. I don't know if I wanted an answer or a way. But my mindless search continued till I found Robin Sharma's "Who will cry when you die?" The book completely changed my outlook towards life and it wasn't too long before I packed my bags and returned to Mumbai.

Sunshine filled Life
Now I maintain a habit of jotting down my short term and long term goals, which really helps me focus on the things I want to achieve. Even if I don't attain a certain goal, I now know a healthy way of accepting failure, learning from them and moving on to give better efforts towards reaching my goal.

Anuj shares his story hoping that it will help his fans as well as many others to overcome their dark days of their lives without losing hope.

I am a little surprised by seeing this article.I really didn't believe that Anuj Sachdev could have faced so much before realizing his dreams.I read an article in which he described his coming into modeling field because of his parents wish.Good to know that he had his dream too and even after failing he did not back off and he is realizing his dream now.It is a great feeling and only some can experience it....The ones who have the courage ,direction and of course support from family members and friends.Actor's life is definitely a struggle...Anuj is definitely a natural actor.. He acts only through his eyes.. it is really as though his eyes do the dialogue delivery... Actors can touch lives not just by acting but by helping others too by doing some meaningful talk just like in this article ..I have become his fan after reading this article.Believe it or not , many of us are still struggling to get what we want or to know what we want to do... I like Anuj Sachdev's way of jotting down the short term and long term goals....really a fantastic article.. very inspiring .. this is my first post on any forum.. I am writing this because i believe many have to go through this experience of failing (dark phase of life) and few have the courage to overcome it and not all actors share this kind of experience... If Anuj Sachdev.. you are reading this...just like you could take the step of going back to the field of acting to realize your dreams by reading Robin Sharma,I too have taken a step to realize my dream .. my dream is kind of a far fetched dream but i am sure i will realize it by jotting down short term and long term goals just as you do.'The alchemist' by Paulo Coelho is the book that inspired me..I will surely read 'who will cry when you die'...
Thanks guys for posting this article.. I hope we get to read articles like these which could inspire lives of some people atleast.

Life is nothing but tasting every feeling .. .. failure being the tas...
