Veteran actress Anooradha Patel has been roped in for the upcoming historical drama "Sher-E- Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh".
"I appreciated the conviction with which the makers approached me for the role and everything worked out well as the production house is very professional. Also, my gut feeling said that the role and the show are very powerful and so I said yes," Anooradha said in a statement.

if he keeps picking the right roles, he will go very far I prefer to see him in movies, rather than tv serials, since its a lot more emotion involved and he is great at emoting his feelings through his face and eyes plus he is quite handsome :D but it takes more than a pretty face to make it big..and he has the "it" factor

Is it a film or a tv serial?... the older version is re-telecast in DD even now... Loved it then... waiting for the new version
