#AnniversarySpecial: 5 Times when Dipika & Shoaib proved that they are soulmates!

First marriage anniversary is always special for any couple, and today, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim may be feeling butterflies in their stomachs as they complete one year of blissful togetherness! It has been a roller coaster year for both of them, with Dipika's winning of the Bigg Boss 12 to the times that go back to the pre-Big Boss win. Dipika and Shoaib met on the sets of the popular show Sasural Simar Ka and became good friends. But Dipika was married back then. After she got divorced, Dipika and Shoaib connected and realized their mutual feelings for each other. They both even participated as a couple in Nach Baliye Season 8, where Shoaib  proposed Dipika. They both got married last year and are giving major couple goals to the audience around the world. Check out five times when they proved that they were so much into each other:

The On-Stage Proposal

Dipika got the shock of her life when Shoaib went down on his knees to propose her after their performance. She choked with tears of joy and let her emotions flow. It was such a romantic gesture and Shoaib going down on his knees, holding the ring was the moment when the whole audience knew that they are going to be the couple. It takes lot of guts to propose some one on National Television and Shoaib and Dipika showed back then that they were not going to hold anything back.

Dipika was a strong contender of Bigg Boss and had a chance to meet Shoaib as a part of luxury budget task. She was filled with tears looking at her husband in the house. They had not seen each other for 85 days and it was an overwhelming moment for both of them. Shoaib, the proud husband told media that he was over whelmed by his wife and liked when he was addressed as "Dipika's husband".

While being in the Bigg Boss house, Dipika was targeted by the audience and blamed for her doings (double standards). It was a difficult time for her in the house with all the accusations. At the time while Dipika was in the house, her husband stood for her from outside and used social media to support his wife. He wrote a lengthy post on Instagram slamming all the trolls. Not only that he was in constant support for her with his motivational quotes on social media with his hastags #proudhusband.

Dipika did not shy away to announce how she wants to use the amount she won in Bigg Boss. She told everyone that she wanted to buy a house for her mother-in-law. Shoaib did support the family during her absence, but she stood always like a pillar for the family. Infact, Shoaib has also said that he is grateful for Dipika and her support.

Breaking All Caste Stereotypes

After the grand marriage of Dipika and Shoaib, Dipika got converted to Islam and she was proud of it. We live in the society where Inter caste marriage is still considered taboo but Dipika and Shoaib showed the society that love always wins! Their marriage was a dreamy one, which happened in Shoaib's hometown Bhopal. Dipika gladly changed her name to Faiza for the wedding.
