Anjum Farooki in Sony's upcoming show

Sagar Arts, the production house which is popular for making Mythos is coming up with yet another show on Sony TV. The show is tentatively titled as Vrat Kathayein.

According to our source, "The story is about a girl who is taken care of by a pujari; naturally she grows up to be a very pious person. Anjum Farooki who was last seen in Aapki Antara as Antara is almost finalized for the role. Dheeraj Dhoopar who was last seen in Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg as Ansh was approached for the male lead but unfortunately his grandmother got seriously ill and he had to urgently leave for Delhi."

We called Dheeraj who says, "Yes, I was approached for the role but my grandma is very ill and my family needed me. So I came down here to Delhi. I don't know when I will return to Mumbai."

We tried Anjum but she refused to comment.

We also tried contacting Producer Shakti Sagar but he remained unavailable for comment.
