Aniruddh Dave's father on son's condition & rushing to Bhopal

The wrath of COVID-19 has only worsened with every passing day and we continue to encounter one shocking piece of news after the other about one public figure after the other testing positive.

But probably coming across as the biggest shocker amongst a this was news about how actor Aniruddh Dave did not just test positive for COVID-19 a while ago but in fact critical a while ago owing to which he was shifted to the ICU. 

It has been a couple of days, and unfortunately, Dave's situation remains critical as you're reading this. We also reported about how Ahuja went on to post a heartwarming note asking for everyone's prayers.

Now, in a recent interview with ETimes TV, Dave's father Vitin Kumar Dave opened on his father's condition and how the family is rushing to Bhopal.

He said, “We are just praying for his speedy recovery. At this juncture, I don’t know what to say, what to do, except praying for him. I am requesting everyone to pray for my son. We are just leaving for Bhopal and most probably will reach there by early morning tomorrow. Shubhi too has left from Kota to be with Anirudh.”

Dave’s sister Paridhi and brother-in-law Prakash Sharma are already in Bhopal since Thursday to be there by his side. Though Dave is in the ICU and not in a position to communicate, their parents did manage to see their son on video call. “It’s heart-breaking to see my son in such a condition. Despite all the suffering, he managed to make a victory sign towards me. I am happy to see his fighting spirit and positive attitude. I felt as if he was saying, ‘Mumma, you don’t have to worry, everything will be fine. His oxygen level has dropped and lung infection has gone up to 80 per cent. Paridhi and my son-in-law are there and updating us about his condition every now and then,” said mother Rajul.
