Anil Charanjeett opens up about Sidharth Malhotra's off screen behaviour; Shares his experience

Anil Charanjeett is currently on cloud nine as his latest film Shershaah where he plays a pivotal role of Subedar Bansi Lal Sharma, is out now. In the film, the actor is seen sharing screen space with Sidharth Malhotra, who is playing the titular role of Captain Vikram Batra.

Interestingly, this isn't the first time Anil has collaborated with Sidharth, the two were last seen in Dharma Productions' Hasee To Phasee.

Sharing about working with Sid again and his off screen behaviour and work ethics, Anil revealed to us that behind the cameras Sidharth is a very fun person to work with and is always eager to learn new things and share his own experiences with everyone and always keeps spreading positivity on the sets.

Talking about his camaraderie with Sidharth on the sets of Shershaah, Anil says,

Sid has a kind of energy which is very welcoming. He is a fun guy and at the same time he is eager to learn and share, so creating a bond on-screen becomes easier. I'm a sucker of positive people on set and he is the one and so I'm I. Like they say, like attracts like and camaraderie is inevitable.

It’s been a long journey for Anil and Sidharth, the two actors shared screen space in Hasee toh Phasee and now the they will be seen in Shershaah yet again. Speaking about the projects and the choices he and Sidharth have made so far, Anil shares,

Your choices are another name of evolution. How receptive you are to a change and how hungry you are for growth. Acting is a lifetime process and survival of the fittest. As long as you can survive by making choices which you think are good to you at that point and believe in it you are bound to evolve and we both are doing the same, making choices and evolving.

Shershaah is an incredible true story of a PVC awardee, Kargil War hero - Capt. Vikram Batra, who shot to fame and became a household name during the Kargil War in 1999. His indomitable spirit and his unflinching courage in chasing the Pakistani soldiers out of Indian territory contributed immensely to India finally winning the Kargil War in 1999.

Directed by Vishnu Varadhan, the biographical drama is inspired by the life of Captain Vikram Batra (PVC) and is jointly produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment.
