Angad Hansija turns a year older

Television's latest chocolate boy, Angad Hansija aka Alekh Rajvansh of Rajan Shahi’s Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai celebrated his birthday last night at Club Fever. The birthday bash was a grand affair with a line up of some of the most well known names of television industry.

His friends and co-actors planned the birthday bash as a surprise for the actor. However, the biggest surprise of the evening for him was the arrival of his family. We caught up with the birthday boy to know his feelings on the surprise and he seems quite excited as he says, “This is the first time I am celebrating my birthday on such a grand scale. I usually celebrate it at home with my parents. This birthday is very special for me because this year I have received a lot. I am doing a popular daily soap and I am being highly appreciated for my role. I have my family and friends here with me, what more can I ask for?”

When asked what he wished for while blowing out the candles on his cake, the actor laughed and replied, “I did not blow any candles. All my wishes have already come true. However, if I had to wish for something, I would wish for my serial to do well in the coming years. The unit always remains together and we keep partying like this every time.”

Angad’s guests included co-actors from the show Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai veteran Alok Nath, Vibha Chibber, Parul Chauhan, Sara Khan, Ashita Dhawan, Naveen Saini, Preeti Puri, Rajendra Chawala, Amardeep Jha, Avinash Wadhavan, Seema Kapoor, Shabaana Mullani, Kinshuk Mahajan, Madhura, Ali Raza and his friends Ali Merchant, Jatin Shah, Jay Bhanushali, Sachin Shroff, Simple Kaul, Vishal Puri, Faisal Raza Khan to name a few. The theme of the party was blood red and it was a sight to see all the guests attired in different shades of the hue. The party went on until the wee hours of the morning with the guests dancing to glory all night long.
