2017 was a tough time for Kapil Sharma, so much so that he was even named as the controversy king of television. Post his fall out with Colors, the actor and his team moved to Sony TV with The Kapil Sharma Show.

But Kapil couldn't even manage to stick to Sony peacefully for a long time. After his infamous on-flight brawl with Chandan Prabhakar and Sunil Grover, the entire team of The Kapil Sharma Show fell apart and Kapil befell problems in the form of ill health and repeated shoot cancellations.

Owing to all this, Kapil and the channel decided to take a break and vowed to return this year.

And as promised, they have. Only two days back, Sony released the quirky teaser of Kapil's comeback show without the title. And from what we hear, the channel has named the show 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma'.

However, it is being speculated that this is a working title and that the channel is yet to lock down on a final name.

It has already been reported that Super Dancer 2 was getting an extension because work on Kapil Sharma's comeback show was not complete. So it is natural that Kapil's show will take over Super Dancer 2's slot.

The show will be a light hearted comedy game show where family members will compete with each other in games. The show will also have Chandan Prabhakar and Kiku Sharda.
