Actress Asha Negi who rose to fame with Zee TV's popular show Pavitra Rishta will be seen romancing Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi for the first time. Asha's character name is Gauravi.

Baarish is a journey of two strangers who have always prioritised family over their lives and how they develop love and respect for each other in their challenging journey.

This will be both the stars' digital debut. The series is a love drama being produced by renowned production house 24 Frames.
