Ananya Panday wishes to play Zendaya's character from Euphoria; is looking forward to working in Hollywood

After the release and success of her film Gehraiyaan, Ananya Panday has been the talk of the town. The film received rave reviews from audiences as well as critics and Ananya was also hailed for her performance. This young actor has a few more big-budget projects in the works, including Liger and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, which are a level up from her masala pictures. 

Ananya was recently questioned by ETimes what she thinks of other artists her age, such as Zendaya, who have already been established as a global star.

Ananya expressed her admiration for the Spider-Man actor by saying, 

"I am so happy that you spoke about Zendaya because she is phenomenal! Euphoria is my favorite show. As an actor, I don't want to tie myself down to anything. So I would love to play a character like that."

Zendaya's successful show, in which she plays a disturbed adolescent, has captivated millions across the world. When asked if a career in Hollywood is a possibility in the near future, Ananya stated that she would be thrilled if she was given the opportunity to audition for something. There are a plethora of exciting job options available all over the world. The world has shrunk significantly as a result of OTT. You get access to a wide range of films in a variety of languages. So, why not.

Ananya will next be seen in Liger. Puri Jagannadh scripted and helmed the sports action film which is produced by Karan Johar under the brands of Dharma Productions and Puri Connects.

Vijay Deverakonda also features in the film, which was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi. Ronit Roy and Ramya Krishna play supporting roles. With this film, Mike Tyson will make his acting debut in Indian cinema. The film is set to hit theatres on August 25, 2022.
