Anant Ambani gets engaged to Radhika Merchant at Shrinathji Temple at NathDwara

In the presence of family, friends, and the blessing of the temple priests, Radhika Merchant, the daughter of Shaila and Viren Merchant, and Anant Ambani, the son of Nita and Mukesh Ambani, celebrated their "Roka" (engagement) ceremony today at the Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan. The duo spent the day in the temple, where they prayed to Lord Shrinathji for his blessing on their impending nuptials and took part in the Raj-bhog-shringaar rituals. Later today, the wonderful occasion will be jointly celebrated by family and friends.

Anant and Radhika have been friends for a while, and today's ceremony marks the beginning of their official marriage journey, which will take place in the coming months. As Radhika and Anant begin their path of union, both families ask for everyone's blessings and well wishes.

Anant graduated from Brown University in the United States, where he also served in a variety of roles in Reliance Industries, including as a member of the boards of Jio Platforms and Reliance Retail Ventures. He presently oversees RIL's energy division. New York University alumna Radhika now holds the position of Director on the board of Encore Healthcare. 

Recently, the Ambani's made headlines when their daughter Isha Ambani arrived to Mumbai with her twins for the first time and they arranged a magnificent welcome ceremony for her. The families of both Isha and Anand Piramal were present for the function and picture and videos from the celbration had been flooding social media on that day.
