Amy Jackson celebrated Diwali with elephants!

We have seen actors indulging in various social causes to support and create social awareness. The recent to join this wagon is ‘Singh is Bling’ actress Amy Jackson.

Amy was recently at the elephant rehabilitation centre with her mom for two days. She has been known to be an animal lover. Her mom was visiting her from UK this time while she had 2-days of Diwali break from the shoot. She along with her mom took a 2-day break and volunteered at the elephant rehabilitation centre in Kerala.

Amy said, "I have been to the rehabilitation centre for Elephants in Kerala a few years back and then again earlier this year. It focuses on orphaned calves that have been abandoned and left alone in the wild because of poachers. It also cares for elephants that were mistreated by their owners or even part of shoes and circus'. It was amazing to see their improvement and to see the baby elephants back in 2013 mature into healthy happy adults."

Indeed, a very fruitful way of making the best use of one’s vacation.
