Amitabh Bachchan showers love on Abhishek: Dus Bahane's global rendition goes viral

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has shared the screen with his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, in several popular films such as "Bunty Aur Babli," "Paa," and "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna." Amitabh Bachchan, at 81 years old, continues to show his support and admiration for his son. Recently, he took to Twitter to praise Abhishek. On June 15, Amitabh posted a video clip on X (formerly Twitter), featuring an international rendition of the song "Dus Bahane," originally from the film "Dus" which starred Abhishek. The video shows a group of singers performing the song for a couple, with the audience joining in and cheering.

In his tweet, Amitabh expressed his pride and appreciation for Abhishek's efforts, writing,

All over the place in the World...Bhaiyu...love and admiration for your continued efforts...and more to come that are already in the pipe line...

The video was initially posted by Abhishek Bachchan's fan club and later shared by Amitabh. The fan club's tweet read, "Nearly two decades of the iconic song #DusBahane and this beautiful rendition has filled us with nostalgia!"

"Dus Bahane," a hit song from the film "Dus," featured not only Abhishek but also Zayed Khan, Raima Sen, Esha Deol, Shilpa Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, and Suniel Shetty. The original track was sung by playback singers KK and Shaan.

On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan is set to appear in Nag Ashwin's upcoming film "Kalki 2898 AD," where he will portray the character Ashwatthama. The film also stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani.

Abhishek Bachchan, meanwhile, has several projects lined up, including "Housefull 5" and an untitled film directed by Shoojit Sircar.
