Amitabh Bachchan shares look test from 1969's 'Reshma Aur Shera'

Superstar of the millennium Amitabh Bachchan has managed to spawn a career of over five decades and continue to be relevant even today after all these years. He is an icon and any touch of nostalgia attached to him is only a treat for one and all.

A while ago, the man went on to share a rare and unseen photo from his days of look test dating back to 1969 for a film called Reshma Aur Shera. The look has Bachchan sporting a folklore attire of sorts and had a poker face while posing for the camera. Bachchan captioned it, "my look test for film “Reshma aur Shera” .. 1969 .. I actually got selected !!"-

As soon as he posted this image, an array of celebrities jumped in to send their hearts to the image which includes the likes of Sonu Sood, Ranveer Singh and Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda. Interestingly, 1969 is also the year he debuted in the film industry with the film, Saat Hindustani. Five decades later, he is the biggest Hindi entertainment industry superstar of all time.
