Amitabh Bachchan playful jab at the fashion sense of today's generation takes social media abuzz

Amitabh Bachchan, the iconic Bollywood superstar, never fails to captivate his fans, not just on the silver screen but also on social media. On October 9th, the legendary actor treated his fans to a heartwarming moment by sharing a picture collage on Instagram. In the snapshots, the megastar can be seen waving affectionately at the crowd of fans gathered outside his residence, a tradition he has lovingly maintained over the years.

However, it was the caption accompanying the post that had everyone chuckling. Amitabh Bachchan revealed that someone had pointed out that his trouser strings were visible. But, in typical Big B fashion, he responded with a witty retort, poking fun at the fashion sense of today's younger generation.

In his caption, he wrote, "तस्वीर देख कर किसी ने कहा कि , भाईसाहेब , आपका नाड़ा लटक रहा है ; हमने कहा, भईसाहेब, नाड़ा नहीं , ये आजकल की पीढ़ी का fashion लटक रहा है ..~ ab" (someone told me after looking at the picture 'brother, your trouser strings are hanging.' So I said, brother, it's not the trouser strings but the fashion sense of today's generation that's hanging.)

On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan continues to be a dynamic force in the entertainment industry. He is currently hosting the immensely popular television game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 15'.

Fans can also look forward to his upcoming projects. He is set to grace the big screen once again in Vikas Bahl's dystopian action thriller 'Ganapath: A Hero Is Born' alongside Kriti Sanon and Tiger Shroff, slated for release on October 20th this year. Furthermore, Bachchan will be seen in the bilingual science fiction action film 'Kalki 2898 AD', directed by Nag Ashwin, alongside an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani, set to hit theaters in 2024.
