Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to thank fans for all the love for his movie ‘Jhund’.

Amitabh Bachchan is humbled by the outpouring love and admiration for his new film, 'Jhund.' Nagraj Manjule's biographical-sports drama is based on the true story of Vijay Barse, who started the NGO Slum Soccer and successfully rehabilitated street children by keeping them away from drugs and crime and developing them into football players.
'Jhund,' which premiered on March 4, earned positive reviews from critics and audiences alike.
On Thursday night, a Twitter user pointed out that 'Jhund' got a 9.3 rating on IMDB. "The ratings keep rising... I am grateful to everyone of the spectators for their enthusiasm for the picture," Bachchan, 79, made a statement.
Another person praised Bachchan for entertaining the audience and compared him to the industry's younger actors. "I am humbled and embarrassed by the comparison ... all artists are equal... please avoid making comparisons," Bachchan said.
In response to another Twitter user who praised the film's courtroom scene in which Bachchan emphasises the need of giving slum people an opportunity, the actor simply commented, "I am so humbled... My love..." .
Sports drama film 'Jhund' is directed by Nagraj Manjule.The film also stars Rinky Rajguru, Akash Thosar, Ganesh Deshmukh, and others, in pivotal roles.
