Amitabh Bachchan has charmed the audience for years with his impeccable acting and charismatic personality. Having delivered some of the finest films of Indian Cinema, Big B continues to create magic with his work. He has two big films in his pipeline: Gulabo Sitabo with Ayushmann Khurrana and Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The superstar is currently hosting the 11th season of popular Indian game show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
In a recent chat on the sets of KBC, Bachchan recalled his college days and shared an interesting incident when he was a student at Delhi University. He said, “I used to live near Teen Murti and take a bus for my daily commute to college. This bus used to go around the parliament and CP (Connaught Place) and further leave me at my university.” He went on to reveal, “Through this route, especially from CP, a lot of good looking college-going ladies from IP College, Miranda House, used to take this bus. So we used to eagerly wait for the stop to arrive faster and wait for beautiful ladies to get in.”
Big B also recalled meeting one of those beautiful ladies many years after graduating from college. He stated, “She said 'when you used to study in the university, and take the bus, we used to eagerly wait for the bus hoping to catch a glimpse of you'! And the story gets better after this she said, she used to wait at the bus stop every day with a friend and a fellow student whose name was Pran. And each time the bus came, there was only one thought that crossed her mind - Pran (her friend) jaaye par Bachchan na jaaye!”
Senior Bachchan was last seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s mystery thriller titled Badla co-starring Taapsee Pannu. Fans are eager to watch their favorite star back on the screens and both his upcoming films have high expectations from the audience.
