Amit Sadh on feeling grateful for the patience that audience has shown in him

It is amazing to think that actor Amit Sadh is not even 40 but is completing an unbelievable two decades in the entertainment industry as he debuted in his teenage with the show, Kyunn Hota Hai Pyaar and is now one of the topmost stars especially on the streaming space.

But just like many, the journey wasn't easy for him coming to Mumbai from a different city and securing a career here. Talking about it with ETimes, Sadh said, “When I came to the city (from New Delhi) I wasn’t readymade. I have learnt everything on the job and became better with every single project that I worked on.”

He added, “The youngsters you see today that are coming to showbiz are all so well-trained and prepared… they are all readymade before they step in. It wasn’t the case with me. So I am just thankful to everyone who stayed put with me, showed confidence in me and backed me to reach where I am today.”

From winning popularity with other television shows like Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat to taking a plunge into Bollywood and winning applauds for his work in films like Kai Po Che!, Sultan, Sarkar 3, Super 30 and then joining the digital wave with Breathe, Amit has worked across all mediums.

“I have come a long way and I want to thank the audience as much I thank the industry folks. The audience too showed patience in me, applauded for me and allowed me to get better with time,” he signs off.
