Amit Dolawat's debut on the Silver Screen!

The good looking and talented actor Amit Dolawat is on a roll! The actor, who is currently seen on Colors' Udann has already won a lot of appreciations for his roles in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Diya Aur Baati Hum.

The actor has now made his debut to the silver screen with a Marathi movie - Athang, that has released today.

We hear that, Amit plays Samar in the movie who is a self made, balanced and a nice guy. He is a medical student by profession. Tanvi Uday as Shilpa, plays his love interest in the movie. The movie is a psycho thriller full of suspense. The title of the movie Athang means- something which has no boundary. The story of the movie revolves around the life of 4 people.

Talking about his debut, Amit says, "It's a big screen and a big experience for me! I have broken into the Marathi cinema being a Non-Maharashtrian. I can speak Marathi but I never thought that I would do a Marathi movie! Our director producer Millind Gawali took me on board for this movie; it's a new beginning for me. The year has begun well for me as Udann has been doing well and the movie is getting good reviews. It always feels nice to be known in the place where you stay."
