Amit Dolawat to feature on Bhanwar!

Popular actor Amit Dolawat, who was recently seen on Star Plus' popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai will soon be seen on Sony TV's Bhanwar.

Our source informed us, "Amit Dolawat will be seen essaying the character of Cyrus Irani who is a naval officer. The story is based on the famous Nanawati case of Mumbai. He had a foreigner wife and when he comes to know that she is having an affair with his friends, then one day he confronts his friend and shoots him to death. The reason he gives in the court for this criminal offense is so strong that he is set free by the judiciary."   

When we contacted Amit, he confirmed the news saying, "I am very satisfied and happy with the outcome. I always wanted to play a man wearing the uniform like I got to play in this episodic. I was quite excited to play the role of a naval officer as this was something that I haven't played yet. It's a strong story with a strong portrayal of love, betrayal and revenge. The story has been given a look of 60s."
