Amidst Aryan Khan's drug controversy, 'We stand with Shah Rukh Khan' trends on Twitter

Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) following the drug bust on Cordelia Cruises' Empress ship. 

The star kid’s bail plea was heard on Monday (October 4), and as per the latest reports, his custody has been extended till October 7. 

Amid the investigation and court proceedings, Shah Rukh’s fans are showing support for the actor and his family by trending #WeStandWithSRK on Twitter.

Twitter is filled with thousands of tweets in support of SRK and his family.

A user wrote, ''I have no status that I can do anything, being a fan, I can pray that @iamsrk sir, wherever you are, you are fine and may Allah make everything right. #WeStandWithSRK''.

 Another one tweeted, ''Thank you for some sensible ppl #WeStandWithSRK''.

Also a user tweeted, "We all need to unite and stand with SRK & Family as they need our love & support.WE LOVE SHAH RUKH KHAN #WeStandWithSRK".

Even Mahesh Bhatt's daughter Pooja Bhatt tweeted, 

“I stand in solidarity with you @iamsrk. Not that you need it. But I do. This too, shall pass.”

Aryan has been booked under section 27 (punishment for consumption of any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance), 8C (produce, manufacture, possess, sell or purchase of drugs) and other relevant provisions of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS).

Based on a tip-off that a party was scheduled on the ship, an NCB team, led by its zonal director Sameer Wankhede, raided the Goa-bound Cordelia cruise ship on Saturday evening and recovered drugs from some of the passengers.

Apart from Aryan, Munmun Dhamecha, and Arbaz Merchant, others are identified as Nupur Sarika, Ismeet Singh, Mohak Jaswal, Vikrant Chhoker, and Gomit Chopra, the NCB had said. 

The cruise company in a statement on Sunday said it had nothing to do with this incident.
