Amid on-going Raj Kundra case, Shilpa Shetty posts on Independence Day

The on-going Raj Kundra pornography case has undoubtedly been one of the talking points for almost a month now. What began with a few assumptions transpired into a case and Kundra's arrest. What has however been a true talking point is the fact that Kundra's multiple pleas have been rejected and he continues to be in custody even now.

His wife and actor Shilpa Shetty hasn't been vocal about the same apart from giving out an official statement a while ago. But this has certainly led to Shetty being absent from her judging position on Super Dancer 4 for multiple weeks now. Shetty, who has also been rather active on social media for a long time has chosen to be sporadically active ever since the controversy began. However, today marks the 75th Independence Day, a proud and special moment. And while the actor might be selectively active otherwise, she chose to post on this special day wishing everyone on the same as she captioned, "Wishing all my fellow Indians around the world a very Happy Independence Day ??????????-

Meanwhile, Shetty and her mother Sunanda Shetty have been named in an alleged case of fraud in Uttar Pradesh. A team of Lucknow Police to question Shilpa and her mother Sunanda in the alleged fraud case in the name of a wellness centre.

Earlier, Shilpa had taken to social media on Monday to issue a statement, saying she and her family do not deserve a media trial.
