Amar Upadhyay to QUIT Doree 2 because of FALLOUT with makers? Here's EVERYTHING WE KNOW

Amar Upadhyay, who has been essaying the character of Priyanshi Yadav's onscreen father in Colors TV's Doree 2, was recently reported to be quitting the show. A report in the Times Of India had revealed that the veteran actor may call it quits any time soon.

Well, India Forums has learnt of some exclusive scoop about the reason behind this decision of the veteran actor. As per our well placed sources closely associated with the show, Amar had a fallout with the makers of the show as his 'dates' were not being used. Our source says, ''Amar was promised 15 days a month, but after the wedding track of Doree, his track had been significantly reduced and he was called only twice or thrice. This irked him and as a result of which, he decided to quit the show.''

''However, the channel and makers are trying their best to retain the actor and if all goes well, they may also eventually reconcile,'' our source further adds. The source reveals that the reason behind the makers underutilising the actor may be his whopping per day fee too.

Earlier, Kinnari Mehta, the prdoucer of Doree 2 had denied reports of the actor's exit from the show.

While official confirmation on the actor's exit from the show still awaits, Amar too is yet to respond to the ongoing reports.

Doree 2 is produced by Kinnari Mehta and Jay Mehta and sees Priyanshi Yadav, Ishaan Dhawan and Amar Upadhyay in the lead roles. The first season of the show was a massive hit as a result of which, the show was reprised for a sequel.
