Aly Goni opens up on why he hasn't been taking up projects recently

It is amazing how Bigg Boss 14 did turn out to be the perfect catapult for several celebrities who were a part of the season be it Jaan Kumar Sanu, Nikki Tamboli and others. 

And while already popular names like Rubina Dilaik, Rahul Vaidya and others have not stopped working post the show's conclusion, actor Aly Goni has been an exception.

While he was indeed a part of a music video with ladylove Jasmin Bhasin but has barely taken up any other project since.

As one would remember, Goni tested positive for COVID-19 a couple of months ago and in a recent interview, he opened up on how he is still recovering from it in a way and hence he isn't taking up work as of now.

Talking to SpotboyE, Goni said, "I am getting a lot of offers but I am not deciding on anything right now. When I was diagnosed with COVID, I had to take some steroids for my lungs, and it had some side effects because of which I had put on weight. So, my first focus is to get back in shape."

He added, "Projects on TV and OTT have been offered to me, but I don't think I will take up anything until I am fit and healthy. I want to give my 100% to whichever character I pick, so I need to be perfect before I come back on-screen."
