Allu Arjun's Voice in Pushpa 2 Hindi Dubbing Dubbed by Shreyas Talpade, Reveals He Never Met the Star

The much-awaited Pushpa 2: The Rule has finally hit the theaters, and fans are in awe of Allu Arjun’s powerful performance. However, what stands out in the Hindi version is Shreyas Talpade's voice bringing the character of Pushpa Raj to life. Shreyas, known for his impeccable dubbing, once again lent his voice for the sequel, but this time, the challenges were bigger.

Despite his close involvement with the character, Shreyas mentioned that he has never met Allu Arjun in person. “I have never met Allu Arjun to date. We have never spoken. So, I don’t know what was his feedback on this one,” he admitted. He recalled that during the first film, Allu Arjun had praised his work in the press, but he is still unsure of what the star thinks about his dubbing for the sequel.

Shreyas also expressed his pride in contributing to the film’s success. “I’m glad that as an artist I got to add some value to the film,” he said. His dedication to getting the voice right for Pushpa's character added depth to the Hindi version, making it more impactful for the audience.

Shreyas, who has won hearts with his portrayal of Pushpa's voice, shared his experience of dubbing for the film. He revealed that for this sequel, Pushpa's character is more intense and gritty. “This time, Pushpa is either drinking, chewing tobacco, or smoking at times. So, to match all of that was difficult. I put cotton in my mouth while dubbing those lines,” Shreyas explained. He went on to say that he needed to maintain the same level of swag and intensity to match Pushpa’s powerful persona.
