Allu Arjun’s ‘Icon’ shelved? Producer Dil Raju rubbishes rumours

South star Allu Arjun had left his fans super excited when he announced a film titled ‘Icon’ with director Venu Sriram which will be produced by Dil Raju.

However, recently several reports suggested that the film has been shelved and will not see the light of the day. Putting an end to such rumours, producer Dil Raju confirmed that Icon is in the making and they will kick-start the shooting process soon. 

Recently, during the press conference of the recently released film Vakeel Saab starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, Dil Raju rubbished reports of ‘Icon’ being shelved. Confirming about the film, he said:

"We finalised the script of Icon even before Vakeel Saab. Icon is a good script and it will be loved by the audience. Venu and I especially like scripts that have all aspects like content, mass and so on. The film kept getting postponed for various reasons. But it will be kickstarted soon."

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun will be next seen in Pushpa alongside actress Rashmika Mandanna. The film will also feature Fahadh Faasil as the main antagonist. The makers released a teaser of the film on Allu Arjun’s birthday and fans have been going gaga over his new avatar. Pushpa will hit the big screens on August 13, 2021.
