Allu Arjun said to take on quadruple roles in Atlee’s AA22xA6, including multigenerational characters

Actor Allu Arjun and director Atlee’s ambitious collaboration, tentatively titled AA22xA6, is gradually building buzz with fresh updates from the production camp. The film, which is currently in its early stages, is already being talked about for its scale and casting decisions. A new report now suggests that Allu Arjun will be seen in not just one or two, but four roles.

As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, Allu Arjun is expected to portray an entire generational arc—playing the roles of a grandfather, a father, and two sons. Initially, director Atlee had envisioned a dual role for the actor, with other artists filling in the rest. However, the report adds that Allu Arjun was keen on taking up the challenge of playing all four characters himself. After a successful look test, Atlee was reportedly convinced.

While there is no official confirmation yet, this would mark the first time Allu Arjun attempts such a multi-character performance, making it one of the standout aspects of the project. Known for his distinctive on-screen energy, this could be a significant move for the actor as he takes on roles that span across generations.

Meanwhile, casting developments continue to take shape. Pinkvilla revealed that Rashmika Mandanna has come on board the film. A source mentioned that her role is expected to be “one of the most daring” in her career, with a different dynamic from what fans saw in the Pushpa series. Rashmika has reportedly completed her look test and body scan in Los Angeles, and pre-production work for her character is underway.

The makers had previously confirmed Deepika Padukone as one of the main leads. Reports also hint at Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor joining the cast in key roles.

Slated as a pan-world release, AA22xA6 is being made on a massive scale. While production is expected to continue into 2026, the release window is being considered for late 2026 or early 2027. All eyes are now on how this film shapes up in the coming months.
