Alisha Parveen's costar Shivam Khajuria reveals speaking to Rajan Shahi on her exit from Anupamaa: 'He said..'

The news of Alisha Parveen, who essayed the character of Rahi in Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa being replaced sent shock waves among the ardent viewers of the show. The actress, who was replaced over night, confirmed being replaced from the show in an exclusice chat with us. She also took to her Instagram handle to further confirm the same and stated that she is completely unaware about the reason behind the same.

India Forums got in touch with Shivam Khajuria, the male lead of the show to talk about the same and the actor, in a chat with us speaks about the incident. Shivam states that he is absolutely unaware about the reason behind Alisha being replaced and that he shared a great bond with the actress. We asked Shivam if the show's falling numbers were the reason behind the actress being replaced and he said, ''Aisa nahi hai ke show ki ratings gir gayi hai, show ab bhi top 5 mein hi hai, it is not that bad, we have been at a good 2.3 rating. Alisha's exit was a shocker for me too. I learnt of the same in the birthday party of Romesh sir last night. I mean, mujhe bhi samajh nahi aaraha hai why did this happen, aisa kuch toh hua bhi nahi tha. She shared a great bond with everyone, including the production, me and Rupali mam too.''

Shivam further reveals speaking to Rajan Shahi, the producer of the show about the same last night at the party. The actor says, ''I asked Rajan sir too about the same last night when we were at the party and all he told me was 'somethings are not in our hands.' Alisha was a nice girl and it was fun shooting with her.''

Known for sudden replacements and over night exits and also rumours about actors not getting along well with Rupali Ganguly, we asked Shivam if this could have been a reason behind the actress' replacement. Speaking about the same, Shivam says, ''Not at all. She had no issues with anyone. Infact, we would all eat together and Rupali mam too would be with us. She and Rupali mam would talk in Bengali because both of them are bengalis. I would not even understand what they would talk about. So I really do not know what happened. With this generation of Anupamaa, there have been no fights amongst the actors. Not even with the production.''

Ask the actor about Adrija Roy's entry in the show and he says, ''Mujhe bhi media bytes se hi pata chala hai that Adrija is joining the show. Honestly, I have not met her. I know about her work in Imlie, Kundali Bhagya and other shows. I know she has done a lot of shows and I hope that turns out good for our show, Anupamaa. I am yet to go on sets today. Will reach on set and meet her.''
